Support Groups

Support, or Supportive, Groups are made up of people with the same disorder or issue, in some cases, working with an expert facilitator. Group members derive emotional support and peace of mind from sharing issues and constructive coping solutions within the group. Also, look under Dementia Care and Grief Support Groups. If you do not see a group that you are looking for, try the Eastern Area Agency on Aging for information and referrals.
