Trainings are available across the state for providers and community members seeking to educate themselves about health disparities affecting the LGBTQ and Community (Queer Community Health Alliance). Services: Maine Family Planning offershormonal transition therapy and monitoring for transsexual people 18 years-old and over (only in Lewiston and Waterville locations). Maine Family Planning also offers onsite self-injection lessons and supplies for hormone injections. Maine Family Planning provides referrals to specialty providers and community resources, including mental, behavioral, and medical providers. The service gives annual exams, preventive care, birth control,and safer sex supplies, and testing and treatment for sexually- transmitted diseases for patients of any gender.

Services: Sage provides services for LGBT Elders, improving quality of life for older LGBT adults living in Maine through advocacy, education, and social support. Drop-in centers exist in Augusta, Bangor, Damariscotta, Ellsworth, and Farmington. Sage operates a virtual drop-in center, using a system of telephone connections at scheduled times twice a month.
