Services: Households are eligible if they meet income restrictions and have medically-necessary emergency hospital services at EMMC and are also living in Penobscot County (as well as other counties).  Proof of household income may be required but the service is free.  Call and ask either for the hospital’s Free Care Program or the Patient Account Office.  If qualified for the service, back bills may be paid.
