How the Senior Yellow Pages Was Born
The Senior Yellow Pages is the brainchild of Gateway Seniors Without Walls. We began working on the manual after conducting focus groups in 2013 to find out more about community needs. Again and again, people voiced confusion about what services were available within our community and expressed the hope that Gateway Seniors would work on a remedy. The Senior Yellow Pages is our remedy.
How to Use the Senior Yellow Pages
When you feel puzzled about services for seniors in Greater Bangor, try looking in the manual. If you have questions about a specific agency, look for that agency alphabetically in the Agency Index in the back of the Senior Yellow Pages. If you’re wondering about what is available for a particular problem, try looking for the problem in the Table of Contents. If you don’t find the problem there, try the Subject Index in the back of the Senior Yellow Pages.
